Author’s Guide on Publication Ethics

  • Authors of manuscripts should understand the goals and mission of the journal and send the manuscript for consideration, making sure that it corresponds to the subject of the journal (future image of Ukraine; Ukrainian policy; public administration in Ukraine; international image of Ukraine; strategic management in education; strategic management in culture; future studies in economics; globalization studies).
  • The manuscript should be devoted to topics that are relevant and important for the international research community.
  • Authors are to submit manuscripts written in academic English. The mixture of American and British usage of English is not allowed, whereas both usages of English are accepted.
  • Authors should be aware of the need to comply with the requirements of objectivity in the presentation of the material, to avoid unduly evaluative judgments.
  • Authors should base their research on empirical data that can be verified by the reviewers.
  • Falsification and manipulation of data can be a reason for rejecting the article.
  • A manuscript submitted to the editorial office should not be under consideration in any other journal.
  • Authors must adhere to high standards of academic integrity, and be responsible for citations and references to other sources. The editors reject the articles in which plagiarism facts are found.
  • Authors are not prohibited from self-citing. However, it must be based on the logic of the research.
  • Authors should avoid significant criticism from other authors and research unless it is due to the logic of the research presented in the manuscript. Criticism should be objective and not aimed at criticizing specific authors.
  • Authors must adhere to the standards of integrity of authorship when all researchers involved in the preparation of the manuscript are listed. In the case of a small contribution, some study participants may be mentioned in the “Acknowledgements” section.   • Authors should adhere to the principles of transparency by providing the editorial board with comprehensive information on potential conflicts of interest, sources of research funding, etc.
  • The authors of the manuscript should avoid situations (for example, unreasonable citation of the work of members of the editorial board), which may create a conflict of interest of the editors, reviewers, or the founder of the journal.
  • The manuscript must be designed in accordance with the requirements of the journal so as not to be rejected by the editor due to inconsistencies in the design.
  • Authors should present the material without overloading the text with well-known facts, for a clearer understanding of the essence of the author’s approach and the results obtained in the study. At the same time, the language of instruction should be academic and reasoned, supported by references to authoritative sources.
  • Authors should avoid any form of discrimination, the propaganda of violence, etc. in the article.
  • Authors must adhere to the standards of communication in the academic environment during communication with the editors, taking into account the comments of reviewers, and adhere to the deadlines set by the editors for reviewing and finalizing the manuscript.
